Our History

Founded at the University of Melbourne in 2011, Strive is a student-led initiative for public health in the community.
Strive runs various community outreach initiatives delivering health education and helping individuals to make informed decisions about their health. We have delivered a range of impactful programs, including community workshops, student conferences, and Strive Clinic, the first student-run clinic in Australia.
We are proud of our strong volunteer base composed of health-conscious students. Our initiatives allow students to engage with primary healthcare through workshops and programs. We aim not only to give back to the community, but to build skills such as teamwork, leadership, and project management.
Our Vision
Strive is dedicated to enhancing healthcare accessibility for underserved populations and empowering them through health education. We also strive to equip the next generation of healthcare professionals with skills and experience to build a more equitable future.
To achieve this, Strive unites students from diverse disciplines who share a passion for addressing issues in healthcare accessibility and equity.
