For students who want to pursue a career in medicine, one of their biggest hurdles is applying for and getting accepted into medical school. This has become so competitive that students are looking for any way to gain an edge over their peers through external support and tutoring. Unfortunately, many students from disadvantaged backgrounds are unable to access these supports and are thus on the back foot. Strive Clinic aims to help reduce this gap by providing a free interview workshop for these students. Run by current medical students, we draw upon our own interview experiences to offer essential tips and tricks for current medical applicants. The workshop has been unbelievably successful the previous few years and we aim to continue to build upon this in future years.
